Get To Know Your Mailbox

Black, shiny, extra large Gibraltar mailbox. 

I've never seen newspapers in this, but you'll find the occasional flyer and wasps nest in them. Replacement box will be made from Azek brand PVC boards. Permanent vinyl numbers are applied to both sides.

The wooden bracket is a decorative support piece attached to the vertical post and the underside of the newspaper box. 

The mailbox post is the vertical piece stuck in the ground supporting everything above. This is made from  6"x 6" ground contact pressure treated lumber with a finial cut into the top. 

The optional bluebird house is made from cedar (not pressure treated lumber) and is left unpainted on the inside to give the birds a natural and healthy environment in which to live. Its exterior is crafted to fit precisely to the post and painted the same color (Black Forest Green) to blend in discreetly. The front door swings open with a  pull from a bottom tab for easy access to the inside for cleaning. 

Constructed of galvanized steel, this six-inch tall, black anodized, wrap-around Fence Armor post guard will protect the base of your post from lawn mowers, string trimmers, moisture, and pests.  Color is Black.
